Well hopefully not Miss Tango! Hopefully we are not a lonely bunch--we keep finding other bloggers through comments and such...we are a lively bunch!;)
BTW the deck on my site is attached to the link for Alison Day. If you click "tarot" on my blog you'll see...
...I'm very glad for you and your Comme Il Fauts by the way!
Hmm. I didn't even bother to read the entire article. While I suppose there are probably a few isolated, lonely souls, baring their innermost thoughts for want of a new *friendship* - there are plenty more, like the likes of Miss Tango here, Caroline, Robert, and countless others that are well adjusted, social creatures.
god, I hate people who over-generalize. If you are going to write some shit like that, always write about the exceptions. Unless, of course, you (the writer) suffer form this lonely isolated life yourself!
I am sort of amazed by how my world has expanded since blogging. I have met some really cool and fantastic people, in real life and virtual life as well.
Y'know, the whole reason I stared by blog a few years ago was so that my friends and family could keep up with my travels. Now I find myself meeting really cool people here in Italy, and soon in Argentina - If it weren't for the blogger community I don't know how I'd have been able to move to Italy and keep my sanity at the same time!
I'd say that we're not lonely at all... :-) at least I'm not.
P.S. Said my Porteno after I forwarded your message to him about the casa: "So you've never met her before, right?" "No," I replied, "Well, I mean I feel like I have, but really I haven't. But she's cool!" silence for a moment. "But you haven't actually MET her met her. Like really met her. You know her from the internet." "Er, yeah. Exactly." (more silence) "Okay."
If you put in a cute Argentine accent it's rather an endearing dialog.
I wonder about that, too, sometimes. But I don't think we are that pathetic - We are all crative, find things to write about, social peeps. Throw away the article!! Being a blogging computer geek is cool, I think.
I came to Buenos Aires for Tango, and stayed for Love. After nearly four years of living here, just when I think I have seen it all, the city and her people will surprise me.

I heard he stopped by yesterday to check out la casa. Sorry to have missed him! I was out and about.
