A couple weeks ago I noticed an advertisement in one of the Tango magazines that Geraldine Rojas and Ezequiel Pauldi were teaching group classes at Tangueriles, the same space he had once shared with his former partner Sabrina Masso. The building once housed a tile factory, and everywhere there is beautiful intricate antique tile samples lining the walls.
Kindred Tango spirit, Tina and I decided we wanted to try out the class and agreed to meet up. Lucky for her, her amor decided to take the class. I almost thought I was going to be partner less, but luckily for me I ended up with a man from Norway. Within 5 minutes I could tell by the way he held himself and the way that he turned me that he studied with Carlos Gavito. I asked him if he had taken lessons with Gavito and he said "Yes, for the last two years of Gavito´s life." Thankfully I danced mostly with Mr. Norway, he was a joy to work with, and we had a fairly easy time breaking down the figures.
Of course, one can´t help but compare, the current partnership to the past one. The steps were interesting in this particular lesson, but as a woman, I think I learned more with Sabrina, she had more suggestions for me, but then perhaps at that time I had more to learn. This class, we got lots of encouragement that we had it perfect, but I am sure there must have been something that needed work... more feed back, please!
I think I would like to try out one more class, I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people but I think I really get more out of having private lessons.

I agree - private lessons really give you your money's worth - the one on one attention is much more helpful than a teacher dealing with 10 or more students at once.
I think the class from E&G was to fast for you... and you got the wrong onformation about Gavito...
cares your speech.
I think you need to learn how to read properly anonymous, you seem to be illiterate, and do not understand what has been written.
