I still hate it when I go into stores and the clerks say, "X item is only X dollars US!" and I say "Thanks, I finished high school and can divide by 3. I live here and it isn´t in US dollars."

That has happened to me once and it threw me off, because wherever I go, I only think in the local currency. I just basically said, "oh... I don't really know what that means - how much is it in pesos?"
