I am in confession mode today. Maybe it was seeing the Pope on the television in the Ecografía Reception Room Saturday. Only in Argentina would you have the Pope on the T.V. screen, and Death Metal music being played by the hospital staff all at the same time. Anyways back to me.
I have a confession to make, I get bored watching Youtube videos of Tango. I try to watch for technique, but either I become critical of the dancers, or my eyes glaze after 20 seconds and I go searching for something else such as this. Personally I prefer to Tango or to watch live Tango.
Am I alone? I hope I am not upgraded to the ninth ring in Tango Hell for this.

You are not alone! I usually skim past blog posts that are all about youtube videos, unless the blogger has commented extensively on it - why they posted it, what to watch for, etc - or I already have interest in the dancers in the video. (Especially if it's a demo by teachers I like but haven't been able to take class with, or something along those lines.) But in general, I'm like you and just skip over them.
Short answer: no. There is nothing wrong with developing a sense of what you like and don't like. Every- and anyone can upload a video. It doesn't make us great dancers.
On the other hand, your instead-of choices are rather suspect :-)
I love gorgeous tiny chicken machine show! I really miss eating wasabi peas too, we have them here, but I am not paying 10 pesos for a teeny tiny itsy bitsy bag!
Sometimes you find a post that's worth the search. Here's one for consideration

I watched your Youtube suggestions, without sound. I sort of found the dancing awkward. As if the steps lacked commitment and emotion. But that is just my opinion. This is why I don´t really like watching videos, I do not enjoy being so judgemental. If a film doesn´t capture my imagination and emotion, then I am too busy dissecting the lighting, costumes, makeup etc... everything except the performance.
I meant to say, everything except getting lost in the performance.
